Coaching to close the gap between inner vision and outer impact
You’ve been successful. Now it’s time for a new approach.
I help the relentlessly curious sharpen their influence.
Types of Coaching

Executive Coaching
You’ve grown into a new level and new responsibilities. The old ways of succeeding aren’t enough to thrive. We work together to build the thinking and action needed to navigate pressure with steadiness and clarity.
Typical focus areas:
- Leading through influence
- Executive communication
- Delegation and prioritization

Career Coaching
Careers rarely move in straight lines. You may be pivoting, or considering it, and need to integrate past success with what now feels possible. Together we connect the threads across experience, gaps, and transitions to clarify what comes next.
Typical focus areas:
- Clarifying values for major transitions
- Deepening the career “story”
- Interviewing with confidence

Communication & Presence
You have strong ideas and a clear point of view, yet your presence does not always carry the weight of what you mean to say. We take a deep dive into how you show up physically and vocally, so your presence reflects your thinking.
Typical focus areas:
- Performance anxiety
- Vocal presence
- Physical confidence
What set this coaching experience apart was how human and safe it felt. You met me with warmth, humor, and honesty, and consistently guided me to the right questions rather than easy answers. The impact of this work has been lasting, and I’m deeply grateful for it.
– Jessica Van Wagner, SVP of HR – Amerit Fleet Solutions
His insightful approach, especially in guiding me to discover solutions through thoughtful conversations, has been transformative. Through our sessions I feel that I gained a deeper understanding of how to support and guide my team’s career progression while also growing in my own leadership role. His coaching has helped me realize how much room I still had to grow, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made and how to take a step back, reflect, and act with intention, and I look forward to continuing to develop with these skills in mind.
– Charlie, Executive Director, Non-Profit Organization
Within a few sessions with Michael, I realized that this work was critical to my ability to move forward as a leader. Michael not only helped me see my leadership superpowers, but even more importantly, my blind spots, and to make connections between my past experiences and how those impact my communication. The tools he shared were specific, useful, and insightful, deepening our sessions together. Coaching with Michael has truly changed the way I work and lead.
– Adrienne Ellis, Director of Strategic Initiatives, The Centers
What sets him apart is his ability to guide without directly solving problems; he empowers individuals to uncover their own solutions. His skill in unraveling questions and getting to the root of the matter makes every session deeply impactful…. Having experienced his coaching support all the way from India, I can confidently say that his dedication transcends boundaries. I highly recommend Mike to anyone seeking a coach who inspires growth, self-reliance, and long-term transformation.
– Tino, Head of Recruitment, Major Retailer
About Mike
I was an opera singer who went into tech, spending almost a decade hiring and advising for VC-backed, pre-scale startups, from edtech to D2C. I also continued to sing nationally and develop independent artistic projects.
Across it all, I wondered: how can we more deeply understand what makes someone thrive? How can we more creatively and holistically understand a person’s skills and motivations, and match that to more meaningful work? I drew from my own journey’s twists and turns to connect with others making similar leaps into entrepreneurship, across sectors, or toward projects without a clear precedent.
Now, I coach intellectually curious leaders who don’t fit neatly into a single lane. Across leadership challenges, career pivots, and communication strategies, we explore how to connect a compelling vision with the rigor needed to deliver in the real world.
My approach draws on 20+ years of exploring and applying performance psychology and personal growth. My certification at the Hudson Institute of Coaching brought academic rigor and a holistic perspective to a foundation built across decades of serious performance training and organizational work.
